JUNE 3, 1863:
Having
resupplied and reorganized the Army of Northern Virginia, Robert E. Lee orders
his men to move north toward Pennsylvania. Using the Blue Ridge Mountains to
screen his movements from the enemy, Lee begins the campaign that will
culminate in the Battle of Gettysburg.
