The Battle of
Hanovertown:
Violent combat continues in the vicinity of Topopotomoy
Creek. Fighting rages around the Shelton farmstead named “Rural Plains” in
Hanovertown, once the home of American Patriot Patrick Henry. Although both
sides try to spare the house, it bears scars of the battle to this day.
