The
Battle of Cockle Creek, Virginia. The island of Chincoteague, Virginia had
voted 138-2 against secession, and as a consequence, was surrounded and
harassed by Confederate forces. The U.S.S. LOUISIANA sinks the marauding
gunship privateer VENUS.
