June 20, 1862---Bragg replaces Beauregard



 JUNE 20, 1862:          

Confederate President Jefferson Davis, having had enough of the "strategic" ceding C.S.A. territory with no gains, relieves General P.G.T. Beauregard of command of the Confederate Army of Tennessee. General Braxton Bragg is his replacement.
