December 2, 1861---The boys in blue
DECEMBER 2, 1861:
Confederate
cavalry (wearing blue C.S.A uniforms) surprise Union pickets on the Little
River Turnpike, near Annandale, Virginia. After a brief but sharp firefight,
the Confederates withdraw.
