May 21, 1862---Foot Cavalry for Front Royal
MAY 21, 1862:
The Union loses track of Stonewall Jackson’s fast moving
troops who are gaining a description as “foot cavalry” for their speed. Unknown
to the Union men in the Valley, Jackson is headed for Front Royal.
