November 4, 1862---The Thunderbolt, The Wizard, and The Ghost



NOVEMBER 4, 1862:         

John Morgan and Nathan Bedford Forrest’s cavalry are tasked with disrupting the Federal supply lines in Middle Tennessee. The objective is to isolate Nashville and reclaim the State for the Confederacy. Morgan is acquiring the nickname, “The Thunderbolt,” while Forrest is becoming, “The Wizard.” Their Eastern Theater counterpart, John Mosby is “The Gray Ghost,” or simply, “The Ghost.”
