November 3, 1862---Fort Sumter is finally resupplied (by the Confederates)

NOVEMBER 3, 1862:

In a move which pleases all of South Carolina, General P.G.T. Beauregard orders that Fort Sumter and Fort Moultrie be "provided and kept supplied with 200 rounds of ammunition for each gun." Beauregard, concerned that the Union has seized too many ports already, wants to bolster the Confederate seaboard defenses.
